Thesis layout - LaTeX
Writing a thesis can be done using Microsoft Word. However, using Microsoft Word can cause you to spend much time and effort in improving the layout. LaTeX is a document preparation system that allows the writer to focus all attention on the content of his work instead of the layout. By using markup tagging conventions to define the general structure of the document and adds plain text. This is the opposite of Microsoft Word where formatted text is used.
